Cold Email is Spam
What’s one marketing hot take that would get you the type of reaction you see in this post’s featured image?
For me… cold email always has been and always will be spam.
Marketers (and sales professionals) LOVE to justify cold outreach.
“It’s just the price of doing business.”
Meh… I’m not buying it.
Permission-based marketing, demand generation, and audience trust matter more than ever these days. Why are we still defending a tactic that prioritizes short-term gains over long-term relationships?
Instead of flooding inboxes with messages that nobody asked for, why not focus on creating content and experiences that make people want to engage with your brand?
When someone chooses to interact with your brand, that’s when real conversations (and conversions) happen.
I’m genuinely curious… what’s your marketing hot take? I’ve opened comments on this post. Have at it!
